The care of patients with advanced respiratory diseases such as COPD places high demands on the flexibility of medical technology. Many sufferers need different forms of care depending on the level of activity or time of day: a breath-controlled impulse mode during movement and a continuous flow during rest phases or during sleep. Until now, this often meant keeping two different devices available at the same time.

The Zen-O™ with the 12-cell battery (manufacturer reference RS-00502-G-S) was specifically developed to combine these two worlds in a single, portable system. A true all-rounder, this concentrator can either deliver a continuous flow (up to 2 litres per minute) or operate in highly efficient pulse mode (levels 1 to 6). Coupled with the compact 12-cell battery, the device offers an excellent basis for mobile use without restricting the user with unwieldy dimensions.

The Zen-O relieves patients and caregivers of the logistical burden, guarantees complete therapeutic safety around the clock and gives them back the freedom to organize their everyday lives flexibly and without worries.

This device is intended for use on prescription only. Its settings must be determined by a qualified healthcare professional.

How to Use

1. Insert the 12-cell battery: Slide the battery into the designated compartment of the Zen-O until it clicks into place.

2. Select dispensing mode: Turn on the device and select between continuous flow (l/min) or pulse mode (level 1-6) from the control panel.

3. Set the therapy level: Adjust the flow rate exactly according to the medical prescription of your treating physician.

4. Connect the nasal cannula: Attach the connection socket of your oxygen goggles firmly to the outlet of the concentrator.

5. Prepare for transport: Place the device in the carrying bag or fix it securely on the transport trolley for longer distances.

6. Start therapy: Apply the cannula. The system now delivers oxygen constantly or synchronously with your breaths.
