The Philips Respironics EverFlo is one of the world's most established stationary oxygen concentrators and has been specifically designed to meet the needs of patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals.

Weighing just 14 kg and with its slim, ergonomic design, the concentrator blends unobtrusively into any living environment. The device continuously filters the ambient oxygen and provides an infinitely variable flow of 0.5 to 5 liters per minute with a high oxygen concentration of over 90%.

A decisive advantage for everyday care and home therapy is the system's exceptional low maintenance. Unlike many conventional concentrators, the Philips EverFlo does not require regular filter changes by the patient for years, which drastically reduces operating costs and minimizes effort.

The integrated OPI (Oxygen Percentage Indicator) sensor system continuously monitors the oxygen purity and warns visually and acoustically if the concentration drops.

Thanks to its low noise level of less than 45 dB(A), the device enables a trouble-free night's sleep. Integrated smooth-running wheels and a recessed handle also guarantee effortless movement within the living area.

This device is intended for use on prescription only. Its settings must be determined by a qualified healthcare professional.

How to Use

1. Choose a location: Place the EverFlo on a flat surface near a power outlet. Keep at least 15 to 30 cm away from walls, furniture or curtains to ensure unobstructed air circulation.

2. Prepare the humidifier bottle (optional): If prescribed, fill the humidifier bottle with distilled water to the mark and screw it firmly to the holder strap provided on the back of the device.

3. Connect: Connect the oxygen tube or nasal cannula directly to the oxygen outlet nozzle (or the outlet of the humidifier bottle).

4. Turn on the device: Plug in the power cord and press the toggle switch to the "on" position. The device performs a short self-test (all LEDs light up briefly, an acoustic signal sounds).

5. Setting the flow rate: Turn the flow adjustment knob until the ball floats in the viewing window exactly on the number of litres prescribed by the doctor (e.g. 2 l/min).

6. Start therapy: Carefully put on the nasal cannula and breathe in evenly through the nose.

Important Tips

  • Allow Space Around The Concentrator
    Place the EverFlo on a flat, stable surface with at least 15–30 cm (6–12 inches) of clearance from walls, furniture and curtains. Keeping the air intake unobstructed helps the concentrator operate efficiently.
  • Keep The Air Intake Clean

    Regularly wipe the exterior of the concentrator and make sure the openings around the air intake remain free from dust and obstructions. Good airflow helps maintain reliable oxygen delivery.
  • Refresh Your Humidifier Water Daily

    If you use a humidifier bottle, empty and refill it with fresh water each day according to the manufacturer's instructions. This helps maintain hygiene and provides comfortable humidification during oxygen therapy.
  • Do Not Change Your Prescribed Flow Setting

    Always use the oxygen flow prescribed by your healthcare professional. Do not adjust the flow rate unless instructed to do so.
  • Check Your Cannula And Tubing Regularly

    Inspect your nasal cannula and oxygen tubing for signs of wear, kinks or damage, and replace them as recommended by your equipment provider.
