VisionAire® 5 Oxygen Concentrator

The diagnosis of a chronic respiratory disease requires reliable long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT) in the home. For family caregivers and healthcare professionals, this often entails significant changes in their everyday lives.

If the patient also suffers from circulatory weakness or restless sleep, a system is required that works absolutely fail-safe and error-free. The CAIRE VisionAire® 5 (manufacturer reference AS098-5) eliminates these worries at the highest technological level.

As one of the quietest, lightest and, above all, most maintenance-free stationary oxygen concentrators in its performance class, it offers a continuous supply of highly concentrated oxygen of up to 5 liters per minute. Its well-thought-out, filter-free design protects against user error and guarantees a highly efficient, stress-free and safe supply.

This device is intended for use on prescription only. Its settings must be determined by a qualified healthcare professional.

How to Use

1. Choose the optimal location: Place the VisionAire 5 on a flat surface in the room. Keep at least 30 cm away from walls, curtains and furniture to ensure free air circulation.

2. Establish power: Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet. For safety reasons, do not use extension cords or multiple sockets.

3. Install the humidifier bottle (optional): Fill the humidifier bottle with distilled water and insert it into the provided holder on the front of the unit.

4. Connect the tubing system: Tightly connect the oxygen tube or nasal cannula to the oxygen outlet nozzle of the concentrator or the outlet of the humidifier bottle.

5. Turn on the device: Press the power button to the "on" position. A short acoustic signal sounds and the indicator lights confirm the successful automatic self-test.

6. Setting the flow rate: Turn the flow adjustment knob until the ball in the integrated flowmeter is exactly at the liter value prescribed by the doctor (e.g. 2 l/min).
